and the stem pushbutton allows for resetting of dial. Has original clip for attachment to clothing.
Excellent appearance and good working condition. Only markings: "Depose HC...France" on movement.
Case is 46mm dia.

This is a replica of the Da Vinci Anemometer made of wood and brass. The inscription reads
"Leonardo Da Vinci, Anemometer, Codex Atlanticus 249 V.C.

Brass Fairbanks Thermometer.
Wonderful brass thermometer manufactured for Fairbanks & Co. by the Standard
Thermometer Co., USA. The temperature scale is in Fahrenheit and the patent
dates on the face are Nov. 10, 1885, Dec.28, 1886, and May 8, 1888. Can be
placed on a desk or hung on the wall. Measures 4 1/8" in diameter and is 1
1/2" deep. Works fine and is in excellent condition.

Mystery
Meter.
Great 1940s Scientific Mystery Meter novelty item, in original box, 4"
tall. The liquid inside spurts from the bottom chamber into the top and seems to
boil when you wrap your hand around the bottom chamber. The effect is caused by
the heat of the human hand and occurs within seconds. The item was made in Japan
and the instructions are printed on the box.
